Jeff Natter, South Whidbey Pride President, will be speaking at the Unitarian / Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island during their annual service devoted to Pride Month.

June is traditionally the month during which we celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.  However, it's not only a time of celebration; it's also a time of reflection.  How can we acknowledge the history of the LGBTQ+ movement and carry those lessons forward in a time of challenge to our rights and our lives?  Jeff Natter, a Whidbey Island queer activist and actor, will reflect upon his personal journey as a gay man and discuss how his experiences mirror the development of the LGBTQ+ right movement in general.
